Que Sakamoto produces and DJs a unique style, blending 'wamono' style Nu Disco with dark wave, psychedelic rock, techno, and traditional music from all corners of the world, from Turkey to Brazil.
As co-founder of Tokyo's Huit Etoiles label, Que brought many of the world's best Nu Disco acts to Japan. Que's style is whimsical and carefree, but keeps a solid groove.
It's no wonder that Que is one of the most active touring DJs in the world, sometimes playing 3 continents in 1 week.

Sakamoto's international breakthrough came in 2014 when he debuted as the first Japanese DJ to play 'Open to Last' at Milan's 65MQ. This was followed by performances in Berlin and Istanbul, marking the beginning of his global recognition. He's known for his dynamic performances, where he never repeats the same mood and strives to create strange and interesting music that expresses his Japanese identity.

Sakamoto also hosts his own podcast on Tbilisi's Mutant Radio and collaborates with numerous artists and DJs globally. He's influenced by the golden years of Japanese analog culture, particularly the city pop, electronica, jazz, minyou, and avant-garde music from the '70s and '80s. He prefers analog sounds, finding them more pleasurable and less stressful than digital ones.
Que Sakamoto's rise to fame in the DJ world is a story of passion, innovation, and cultural fusion. He emerged from Tokyo's underground music scene, bringing a unique Japanese aesthetic to clubs globally.
